Mira Documentation Overview

Welcome to the Mira documentation. The purpose of this site is to detail the technical concepts of the Mira platform; document use cases for the Mira Console; and provide documentation and examples for consuming the Mira REST API.

What is Mira?

Mira is a location intelligence platform purpose-built for out of home (OOH) media. By processing more than 9 billion mobile location events per day, our platform can filter, aggregate, and measure digital and mobile audiences in arbitrary geographical locations. We use this to help customers plan better campaigns using digital audiences, optimize campaigns in real-time, and measure the performance of campaigns across various KPIs.

📘

Reveal + Mira

In 2021, Mira was acquired by Reveal Mobile . In most cases, we still use Mira to refer to the OOH measurement business, e.g. the "Mira Console"

Target Audience

This documentation is geared towards

  • users of the Mira Console
  • technical users and developers consuming from and integrating our API directly
  • customers using Mira as a managed service
  • demand- and supply-side operators that leverage our platform and resell services to their own clients

Guide Structure

We’ve divided the guides into two sections: one covering the concepts behind our approach to OOH attribution, and the other focused on using the Mira Console, our SaaS platform. Since Mira supports both self-serve and managed-service models, we’ve placed the SaaS-specific guides in a dedicated section, starting here .
